Canon GP215 Description
Quality laser copies are printed at the rate of 21 per minute (A4 size) and you can produce any size of copy from A3 to A6. The GP215 will automatically select suitably sized paper from the right cassette tray (even when you have loaded a mixture of different sized originals in the document feeder). You will never be kept waiting; the copier warms up ready for use in just 8.6 seconds and will produce your first copy less than 10 seconds after that.
Powerful Printing
The PageStation GP215 provides a fast and flexible laser document printer for use in the vast majority of business network applications. With the X2e Printer Controller the GP225 can produce A4 prints at the rate of 21 per minute (10 prints per minute A3), and can print on any size of paper from A3 to A6. Unlike conventional laser printers, it offers all the automatic paper handling facilities you would expect to find on a well-featured copier, including image scaling, sorting, stapling and transparency interleaving. The machine will even select different types of paper for the front and back covers of your documents and insert them automatically. The GP215 also has a 3.2GB hard drive onto which print jobs can be saved for re-printing. In addition, the GP215 has Fiery Webtools which allow the user to control and monitor printer/print job status over the Internet and company intranet. With resolution at 2,400 x 600dpi, every page is a superb quality first generation print.
Super-Fast Faxing
The GP215 can be transformed into an advanced plain paper laser fax machine, and at the touch of a button, documents are transmitted at approximately six seconds per A4 page. Images can be transmitted and received at a high resolution of up to 600 dots per inch, and incoming/outgoing pages can be stored in the machine?s mailboxes.
Network Scanning
Using the optional AXIS network scan server, documents are converted into electronic format prior to distribution across workgroups, the enterprise, or the World Wide Web. At the touch of a button users can effortlessly scan documents, photographs, the reports before distributing them anywhere ? from individuals to distribution lists, across the office or around the world.
